  1.    Directory Extended DX.EXE and batch file FILE-DX.BAT must be located in your
  2.    path. The latest version of Directory Extended is included with FILE11.ZIP.
  3.    but is NOT included in FILE12.ZIP to save download time as suggested by Don
  4.    Watkins, SYSOP CompuServe IBMAPP. Directory Extended is available on many
  5.    BBS's. On CompuServe it can be found in the file DX-211.ARC and documentation
  6.    in DX-D20.ARC. On Exec-PC the file is DX211.ZIP. DX is an excellent and very
  7.    powerful file and disk utility. I strongly urge you to support and register
  8.    DX.

  10.    DX is used in these macros to produce a list of files of all files
  11.    in the current directory with the selected extension, sorted by
  12.    either name or date. This sorted list is then loaded into a window.
  13.    File selection is made by moving the cursor to the desired file and
  14.    pressing Enter. Txtfiles may be loaded for editing, macfiles read,
  15.    or files of any extension in the FILE.SRT may be deleted.
